This policy explains what the IREFCON 2026 app does with your information.
1. WHO WE ARE
The IREFCON 2026 app is provided by the IREFCON 2026 Organizing Committee for registered delegates, speakers and guests of the conference.

2. INFORMATION YOU GIVE US
The only information you enter in the app is your email address, which you use to sign in.
You cannot create an account inside the app. Accounts are created by the organizers from your conference registration.
3. INFORMATION WE ALREADY HOLD FROM YOUR REGISTRATION
When you sign in, the app displays the delegate profile the organizers created for you. This may include your name, title, email address, photograph, company or institution, designation and registration number.
4. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
After you sign in, the app saves a sign-in token and a copy of your delegate profile on your phone so you do not have to sign in again each time you open it. Conference content you view, such as programme documents and gallery images, is also cached on your phone.
All of this is stored only on your own device. Signing out removes your token and your profile from the device.
5. INFORMATION VISIBLE TO OTHER DELEGATES
The app includes a delegate directory. Any signed-in user of the app can see the profile details of other delegates, including name, title, photograph, company or institution, designation and email address.
If you do not want your details to appear in the directory, contact support@irmaindia.org and we will remove them.
6. WHAT WE DO NOT DO
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking software of any kind. We do not sell, rent or share your information with any third party for marketing.
The app does not ask for your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
7. PERMISSIONS THE APP ASKS FOR
Internet access, which the app needs to load conference content.
Permission to save pictures to your photo library, which is asked for only when you tap the download button on a gallery image. The app can only add pictures. It never reads or looks at the photos already on your phone.
8. WHERE YOUR INFORMATION GOES
The app communicates only with the official IREFCON portal at portal.irefcon.com. Your information is not sent anywhere else.
Sponsor links in the app open in your phone's web browser. Once you leave the app, the sponsor's own website and its privacy policy apply, not this one.
9. CHILDREN
The app is meant for registered conference delegates and professional attendees. It is not directed at children, and no one can register through the app.
10. YOUR CHOICES
You can sign out at any time from the settings screen, which clears your information from the device.
To see, correct or delete the information the organizers hold about you, write to support@irmaindia.org.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at the same address.
12. GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
